From Stone Eagles and personal letters to hidden items and workbenches, this mission is packed with things to find. If you want 100% completion, this guide will help you collect everything without missing a thing.
All Collectables in Mud and Thunder DLC
There’s a lot to discover in Sniper Elite: Resistance, especially in the Mud and Thunder mission. To help you out, here’s a full list of all the collectables you can find in this level. The game can feel a bit overwhelming at times, so it’s a good idea to come prepared with a variety of skills to make things easier as you explore.
Stone Eagles
Stone Eagles are one of the main collectables in Sniper Elite: Resistance. There are only three to find in the Mud and Thunder mission, and while collecting them doesn’t give you any gameplay advantage, they’re a must if you’re aiming to unlock all the trophies or go for 100% completion.
1. Stone Eagle
Right at the start of the level, follow the path and look up; you’ll spot the first eagle perched on a ridge.
2. Stone Eagle
This eagle is sitting on top of a building at the marked location. Just look up when you’re nearby and you’ll see it.
3. Stone Eagle
You’ll find the final eagle on a rooftop at the marked location. You’ll get a clean line of sight for the shot.
Personal Letters
Personal Letters are one of the main collectables in Sniper Elite: Resistance. There are only five to find in the Mud and Thunder mission, and while collecting them doesn’t give you any gameplay advantage, they’re a must if you’re aiming to unlock all the trophies or go for 100% completion. These letters can be easy to miss since they’re small and don’t stand out much. A few of them are also present in spots you might not normally go to during the mission, so you’ll need to explore a bit to find them all.
1. Concerning News
Follow the road and look for a blue car, a truck, and a dead soldier. The letter is on the soldier’s body. You can’t miss it, it’s required for one of the main missions.
2. Wilda, My Dearest
Head to the Kill List Challenge area. Behind the big house, there’s a smaller one. Go upstairs inside the smaller house, and you’ll find the letter on a table.
3. I Hate This Place
While heading back toward the starting area, you’ll come across a bridge. Before you reach it, check the table nearby to grab this letter.
4. Relocation Request Draft
Make your way through the trenches and follow the curve. You’ll come across a desk where the letter is waiting.
5. Damp and Miserable
Head right toward the refinery rig. Before reaching it, look for some crates stacked near some storage drums. The letter is sitting right on top of those crates.
Classified Documents
Classified Documents are one of the main collectables in Sniper Elite: Resistance. There are only five to find in the Mud and Thunder mission, and while collecting them doesn’t give you any gameplay advantage, they’re a must if you’re aiming to unlock all the trophies or go for 100% completion. Most of the documents are in areas you’ll visit while doing main missions, side objectives, or Kill List Challenges. But a few are hidden in spots you might not think to check, so it’s worth taking a little extra time to explore.
1. New Tech
Head to the top floor of the radio tower. The document is inside a locked safe. You’ll usually find the key nearby, but if not, look around for a satchel charge to break it open.
2. New Orders
Check the other building near this area. There’s a box next to a crowbar by the shelter entrances; your document is inside that box.
3. A Monster in the Marshes
Go to the marked building. Then head inside and open the safe to grab the document.
4. Construction Complete
To the right of the V2 rocket, there’s a bunker. Go through both sets of large doors and stick to the left wall. You’ll find the document sitting on a table.
5. Workplace Safety
From the last document location, head downstairs and out the metal doors. To your right is a wooden crate. Grab the final document from there.
Workbenches
There are only three to find in the Mud and Thunder mission, and while collecting them doesn’t give you any gameplay advantage, they’re a must if you’re aiming to unlock all the trophies or go for 100% completion. Unlocking workbenches gives you new attachments for your rifle, SMG, and pistol. These upgrades can help make your weapons quieter, hit harder, reduce recoil, or even shoot faster.
1. Workbench
Look for the white gear icon on the map. That’s your first workbench for this DLC, easy to spot.
2. Workbench
Climb up to the top level of the warehouse marked with the white gear symbol to find this one.
3. Workbench
Head to the area with the V2 rocket. From the rocket, go downward on the map until you find a door with a padlock. Break it open to access this workbench.
Hidden Items
Hidden Items are one of the main collectables in Sniper Elite: Resistance. There are only two to find in the Mud and Thunder mission, and while collecting them doesn’t give you any gameplay advantage, they’re a must if you’re aiming to unlock all the trophies or go for 100% completion. This type of collectable is required if you want to unlock the Treasure Hunter trophy, so you’ll need to find every single one to get it.
1. Fancy Teapot
On your way back toward the start of the map, pass the building. Go inside and look for a teapot sitting on a table.
2. Asperine Bottle
Look for two semi-cylindrical bunkers on the lower side of the map. The Aspirin bottle is hidden in the one on the bottom.
Starting Locations
There are only two to find in the Mud and Thunder mission, and while collecting them doesn’t give you any gameplay advantage, they’re a must if you’re aiming to unlock all the trophies or go for 100% completion. Every mission in Sniper Elite: Resistance gives you a default starting point. But most missions also have extra starting locations you can unlock. To do this, you’ll need to either light a fire or unlock a gate when you find them.
1. Woodlands Starting Location
As you get close to this spot, a blue eye icon will mark it. Light the fire here to unlock it as a future spawn point.
2. Hillside Starting Location
There’s a locked gate here; break it open, and you’ll unlock another starting point for future playthroughs.
Propaganda Poster
There is only one to find in the Mud and Thunder mission, and while collecting them doesn’t give you any gameplay advantage, they’re a must if you’re aiming to unlock all the trophies or go for 100% completion. Each Propaganda Poster you find will unlock a new Propaganda Challenge for you to complete. Finishing these challenges will reward you with different kinds of useful items or bonuses.
1. Propaganda Poster
Climb the trail to the marked location. You’ll find a small pillbox structure. Go inside to grab the poster.
