Getting around faster in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon can make a big difference, especially in the early game. Luckily, you don’t have to wait too long to get your first horse. In this guide, we will walk you through exactly where to find a free horse early on, how to claim it, and how to call it whenever you need.

How To Get A Horse in Early Game

You can get a horse early in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon. First, head over to the bridge near the King’s Road. Follow the King’s Road going north. After a short walk, you will notice a small path that splits off and leads under a bridge. For reference, the starting area is off to the right, so just make your way up to the bridge from there.

Once you’re at the bridge, you will come across a few enemies there, they’re not too tough. Just take them out. After you’ve cleared the area, you willl see the horse, that horse will be your companion.

Now, go up to it and follow the on-screen prompt to pet it. Then walk over to the saddle and mount the horse. If it ever wanders off, you can call it back anytime. To call your horse, just hold the Q key (or your menu wheel button), look for the horse icon, and select it. Your horse will come right back to you.

In Tainted Grail, the horse, is used for faster travel and access to certain areas. The horse is primarily used for quick movement between locations and offers a way to reach areas that are otherwise inaccessible on foot. It can also be used to jump over certain obstacles, providing access to new locations.
