Turn The Person Into Cheese Guide for the Ironic Achievement/Trophy – Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon

If you want all the achievements in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, there’s one secret achievement called “Ironic.”  In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to get the spell and how to unlock the Ironic achievement step by step.

Ironic Achievement/Trophy in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon

To complete the achievement called “Ironic,” you need to turn Rumpolt himself into cheese using the spell he taught you. Just make sure you’ve got enough mana and catch him when no one’s around, turning him into cheese. It’s a secret achievement in the game.

Rumpolt’s Revenge

Rumpolt’s Revenge is a reward you get from the quest 120 Days on Herring and Cheese, given by Rumpolt Finnini. Once you complete the quest, you’ll receive a unique spell called Rumpolt’s Revenge.. The Light Cast version lets you summon a solid block of cheese right in front of you, using a bit of your own blood (it costs 15 health). The Heavy Cast slowly turns your target into cheese over time, using just 8 mana. You can find this quest around the Ruined Broch.

How to Get Rumpolt’s Revenge Spell

Rumpolt is waiting for you, and he suggests you try one of his favourite dishes: Herring and Cheese.

Look at your map and you will see the Really Special Herring marked on it. Head over there, and you’ll find a Fishing Rod lying next to a ruined boat on a small island. Equip the rod, look out at the ocean, and press the interact button to cast your line. Wait for sometime and then complete the quick fishing minigame to get the fish.

Now for the cheese. Órlaith’s store in the castle is the simplest place to get some cheese for the reciepe. She doesn’t sell cheese, but there are two pieces sitting right on her merchant stand. Taking them is stealing, but if you sneak around behind her, you can grab them without being spotted.

After obtaining the cheese and fish, proceed to a cooking kettle. There’s one in the fort’s courtyard. Combine the ingredients, and you’ll get a fresh dish of Herring and Cheese. Bring it back to Rumpolt, and he’ll reward you with a cheese-themed spell.
