In DOOM: The Dark Ages, you can find special gold chests hidden throughout the game. These chests give you gold, which are useful for upgrades and gear. Some chapters don’t have any gold chests, while others have one or more, hidden in secret spots. This guide will help you find all the gold chests in Chapters 20 and 22.
How to Get to Gold Chest in Chapter 20: Resurrection
Chapter 20: Resurrection has 4 Gold chests. Since the level is open-world, you can go to collect Gold chests in any order you like.

1. Gold Chest
Now, look for a small arch bridge. Just to the right of it, climb the wall. At the top, turn right to reach a yellow key gate. Inside, you will find a gold chest.
2. Gold Chest
Enter through this gate that has been opened, then use the valve to flood the room with water. After floating to the top of the room, the gold chest will swim up, climb onto the cage, and leap off to the sole gate that is open. The cultist circle is located there. You can now retrieve the gold chest by using the gate switch behind the cultists to unlock the gate.
3. Gold Chest
Ascend the subsequent wall to reach the gold chest that has fifty gold coins.
4. Gold Chest
There is a gold box on the right as you descend again and enter the next large cave portion. You can use shieldbash to produce foes from the demon arm across from it. The barrier surrounding the gold chest vanishes once they are killed.
How to Get to Gold Chest in Chapter 22: Reckoning
Chapter 22: Reckoning has 1 Gold chest. Since the level is open-world, you can go to collect Gold chests in any order you like.
1. Gold Chest
When you toss your shield at the blue sign, a wall will rise to your right, which you must scale. To locate the gold chest, take the path around the corner.
