How to Get & Use Corrupted Fish in V Rising 1.1

If you’re in V Rising 1.1 and want to make the most out of your time fishing, Corrupted Fish is one rare catch you’ll want to look out for. In this guide, we’ll show you exactly where to find Corrupted Fish, how to catch it, and what you can do with it once it’s in your inventory.

How to Get Corrupted Fish in V Rising 1.1

Corrupted Fish is a rare type of fish that you can catch in the Oakveil Woodlands. You’ll also have a chance to find it at the Brighthaven Docks. You can carry up to 10 of them in a single stack.

How to Catch Corrupted Fish in V Rising 1.1

To catch Corrupted in V Rising, you’ll need to craft a Fishing Pole at a Woodworking Bench. You can craft the Fishing Pole either directly from your inventory or at the Woodworking Bench. Crafting it from your inventory is quicker and easier, so that’s usually the best option. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 120x Wood
  • 4x Coarse Thread

Once you’ve got your pole, just equip it, head to a fishing spot, and left-click on a bubbling fish pool to cast your line. When you see the water splash, quickly left-click again to reel in a fish or sometimes even other loot.

To unlock fishing, you’ll first need to defeat Rufus the Foreman in the Farbane Woods to get access to the Woodworking Bench. After that, take down Finn the Fisherman in the Dunley Farmlands to unlock the Fishing Pole itself.

You can feed Corrupted Fish to a Prisoner in a Prison Cell, but the effects are random. It can either increase or decrease their health (anywhere from 0% to 100%), raise their misery by up to 25%, and slightly change their blood quality (by 0% to 2%).

It might sound strange, but if you keep feeding enough Corrupted Fish to a prisoner, you can eventually get their Blood Quality up to 100%. Just keep in mind that there’s always a small 1% chance the prisoner could die each time you feed them.

You can also put Corrupted Fish into a Blood Press to get the following:

  • 12x Venom Sap
  • 2x Fish Bone
