Blood of the Daedra Quest Guide – Oblivion Remastered

If you’re in Oblivion Remastered, the “Blood of the Daedra” quest is a big step forward in the main story. In this quest, you’ll need to track down a Daedric artifact but you don’t have to do every Daedric shrine quest, just one. Finding the shrines can be tricky since some are hidden across Cyrodiil’s wilderness, but the rewards are well worth it. This guide will walk you through how to start the quest, where to find the shrines, what you’ll need, and what you’ll get for completing each one.

How to Start the Blood of the Daedra Quest

Martin has found a way to open the gate to Camoran’s Paradise, but you’ll need the blood of a Daedric Lord to do it. Right in front of him, you’ll see a book called Modern Heretics read it to learn more. There’s also The Warp in the West on the table, which boosts your Block skill, and another book that can increase your Conjuration.

Modern Heretics suggests visiting the Shrine of Azura, but you don’t have to; any Daedric artifact will work. There are 15 Daedric Shrines scattered across Cyrodiil, each offering its own quest and unique reward. You only need to complete one shrine quest and bring the artifact you earn back to Martin at Cloud Ruler Temple to move the main story forward.

    All Daedric Artifacts Location

Once you’ve got a Daedric artifact, bring it back to Martin. When you talk to him, make sure you give him an item you don’t mind losing, you won’t get it back. Doing this will complete the “Blood of the Daedra” quest and start the next one, “Blood of the Divines,” in Oblivion Remastered.

While each shrine asks for a different offering, most of the items are pretty easy to find. The real challenge is actually locating the shrines themselves, since a lot of them are hidden deep in Cyrodiil’s wilderness. Also, be careful Daedric quests can be failed pretty easily. It’s a good idea to save your game right after you get the quest, just to be safe.

Decided that degrees were as useful as extra lives in a Mario game-totally unnecessary! I’m diving into the extravagant universe of my favourite game, Assassin’s Creed, which lets me roam the world without actually paying for plane tickets. Hodophile by nature and aspiring to get lost in Hang Sơn Đoòng cave in Vietnam someday!
