“Mimsy Were the Borogoves” quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, invites you to team up with Alice as she embarks on a treasure hunt across the valley. Mimsy Were the Borogoves Quest

To start the “Mimsy Were the Borogoves” quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you will need to speak with Alice. She is on the hunt for a hidden treasure and asks for your help by decoding a series of poetic clues. The first poem mentions “a place of sunbaked pleasure,” which points you toward Dazzle Beach. Once you arrive there, keep an eye out for a buried bottle, dig it up, and bring it back to Alice.
Exploring the Cavern of Mystic Lights

She will read the next clue from inside the bottle, which describes “a dark cavern with mystic lights.” This points to a nearby cavern located between Dazzle Beach and Peaceful Meadow. Head inside the cavern, where you will encounter glowing Mome Raths, which are a kind of flower. Water them as you proceed toward the pond. In the middle of the pond, you will find another bottle. Use your fishing rod to reel it in, then return it to Alice. She will share the final clue of your journey.
Seeking the Jabberwock’s Hideout

The last part of the poem sends you off to search for the Jabberwock in its “house of bark,” which is present in a “wooded yard.” This cryptic clue is referring to a log in the Forest of Valor. Once you find it, talk to Alice again, and she will ask you to craft Wonderland Candles to lure out the Jabberwock.
To make the candles, you will need the following items:
- 3 Tinkering Parts
- 6 Glass
- 9 Coal Ore
- 10 Red Bell Flowers
- 12 Yellow Daisies
You can check your Collection menu to see where each item can be found. After gathering everything, head to your crafting station to create the Wonderland Candles.
Finally, return to the log in the Forest of Valor, the Jabberwock’s hideout, and place the candle there. This will summon the Jabberwock and reveal the hidden kaleidoscope present inside the log. Bring the kaleidoscope back to Alice, and with that, the whimsical adventure of the Mimsy Were the Borogoves quest will come to an end.
