How to Get Hunter’s Stagbow

You can craft Hunter’s Stagbow at a Smithing Anvil once you have obtained its recipe, which drops from Garou Hunters (located on the map above). To craft Hunter’s Stagbow, you will need:

  • 18 Antler
  • 6 Ram Horn
  • 4 Swamp Thread
  • 4 Jade
  • 4 Vault Shard

Antlers

You can get antlers by hunting deer, but tracking one down is difficult. Deer have a sharp sense of awareness and will run off if they detect you, which happens pretty easily. Bramblemead Valley is a great spot to find deer, and the Temple Woods are also worth checking out. Use a bow to hunt.

Remember to crouch and move slowly while approaching, as deer can still sense you from a good distance. When you’re close enough and ready to shoot, aim your weapon and hold the fire button to perform a heavy attack. It only takes one well-placed arrow to bring a deer down.

Ram Horn

To get a Ram Horn, you will need to hunt down a Ram, which can be found in the Stormtouched Highlands. Rams often roam in flocks with Sheep, but unlike sheep, Rams are aggressive and will fight back.

Swamp Thread

To get Swamp Thread, collect Swamp Weed. For that head to the Bloodblight Swamp and search for Swamp Weed. It’s small and easily blends into the dark environment, so stay alert. Look for it scattered randomly around the swamp, often near Blightwood roots or other landmarks.

The Bloodblight Swamp is a toxic area. Bring Anti-Poison Potions to avoid damage. Place warp point or activate a nearby Lodestone to move easily. Once you have collected enough Swamp Weed, head to a Spinning Wheel. Place the Swamp Weed into the wheel, and you will craft Swamp Thread.

Jade

Jade is a gemstone. To get Jade, you will need to mine Iron deposits in the Stormtouched Highlands, which becomes accessible after progressing through a good portion of the game, particularly west of the Fractured Plains. Make sure you have the Gem Prospector perk unlocked at level 16 Mining; this is important for Jade to drop from Iron nodes. Iron appears as a brown mineral on large boulders along cliff edges, and you will need a Bronze Pickaxe to mine it.

It’s highly recommended to manually mine the Iron, as using the Rocksplosion spell might prevent precious gemstones like Jade or Opal from spawning. Be sure to gear up with Bronze Armor before entering the Highlands, since the area is constantly struck by lightning and can be deadly without proper protection. Keep in mind that Jade has a low drop rate.

Vault Shard

Vault Shards are rare resources found only inside Vaults scattered across the map. These shards are important for crafting structures like the Furnace, which is needed to smelt metal bars for weapons and gear. You can collect Vault Shards by opening chests or defeating powerful Vault Sentinels inside the Vaults.

There are six Vaults in total, located in key areas like Temple Woods, Bramblemead Valley, Whispering Swamp, Fractured Ruins, Bloodblight Swamp, and the Stormtouched Highlands. Each Vault has its own unique boss and offers high-tier rewards like hidden recipes. Vaults respawn over time, so you can revisit them to farm Vault Shards.

Once you have all of these items, you can craft Hunter’s Stagbow in RuneScape: Dragonwilds.
