In Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, you can earn two trophies during the boss fight with The End. The first one, “You Snooze, You Lose”, is for sneaking up behind him and making him surrender without being seen. The second one, “A Good Man is Hard to Find”, is for getting the special Moss camo and using it to reach 100% camo. Both can be unlocked during the same fight if you do everything right. This guide will help you get both trophies easily by showing you what to do step by step.
You Snooze, You Lose & A Good Man is Hard to Find Trophy/Achievement
You can earn You Snooze, You Lose & A Good Man is Hard to Find Trophy Achievement after the boss fight with The End. These trophies are missable as it is only possible during The End’s boss battle; if you don’t kill him earlier or force him to die of old age.
You Snooze, You Lose Trophy
To get this trophy, make sure you do not kill The End early at the Ponizovje Warehouse: Exterior. If you do, you will miss the chance to fight him later and won’t be able to earn this trophy.
Later, you will fight The End in the Sokrovenno forest. He will be hiding and sniping at you from a distance. Put on camo that matches the area so you can blend in better.
Your goal is to sneak up behind him without being heard. To do that, hold L1 to move silently. Once you’re right behind him, aim your gun at his back. He will surrender by lying down with his hands up.
Now here’s the important part: aim your gun away from him, then aim at him again, do this three times. After the third time, he will start to squirm and drop his special Moss Camo. Pick it up, and the trophy will unlock.
You only need to catch him from behind once and do all three aim cycles in the same moment. Just remember, always hold L1 to sneak, or he will hear you and escape.
A Good Man is Hard to Find Trophy
To unlock A Good Man is Hard to Find Trophy, you need to Moss camo from the boss fight with The End. First, find a green patch of grass and lie down (go prone) while wearing the Moss camo; this will give you a 100% camo index.
During the fight with The End, quietly sneak up behind him (hold :l1: to move silently), then aim your gun at his back. He will put his hands up and lie down. Now, aim away and then aim at him again three times. He will shake and drop the Moss Camo.
If you miss this chance, there’s another way. Finish the game without triggering any alerts (which is required for the Foxhound Rank). This unlocks the Stealth Camo, which makes you invisible and also gives you a 100% camo index.
