XDefiant is a multiplayer FPS game developed and published by Ubisoft. Like all online games, the XDefiant servers can also go down occasionally for maintenance. 25 September
XDefiant server will go down today for the rollout of Season 2 starting 6 AM PT / 1 PM UTC. The servers will remain down for 2 hours. Check the current server status section below for the exact time when servers go down in your region and the countdown to Season 2 live.
24 September
The XDefiant server is scheduled to go down today for an urgent hotfix to resolve ranked appearing as locked in-game. The servers will restart at 9:15 AM PT/4:15 PM UTC. Check the server status section below to find the maintenance time in your local time zone.
28 August 2024: The servers will be down for maintenance starting at 6 AM PT / 1 PM UTC. The expected downtime is 1 hour. Maintenance is needed for the rollout of patch Y1S1.5.
Update 09 July 2024: A new patch will be deployed at 8 AM PT. The patch’s downtime is 1 hour.
The patch will fix performance issues on PS5 and an issue with getting 0 RP after completing a match in Ranked.
Update 4 July: Servers are Online.
Update 4 July: The servers will be down for maintenance starting at 6 AM PT. The downtime will last an hour, and the servers will be back online at 7 AM PT, 2 PM BST, and 3 PM CEST.
Update 4 July: Servers are unstable due to overcapacity. Users are getting various errors.
Update 3 July: Servers are Online.
Update 3 July: Maintenance has been extended. No ETA
Fix XDefiant Server and Connection Errors
If the servers are operational and all services are online, the problem may lie with your internet connection. Here are some basic fixes that can get you in-game.
- Reboot the device and try again.
- Enable the Ubisoft Overlay
- Close third-party programs like GPU Tweak III and Monitor III, etc.
- Perform a clean boot
- Clear cache from your console
- Test the internet connection on your console
- Reset the router/modem

How to Check XDefiant Server Status
There are several ways to check the current status of the XDefiant server, but the first thing you should do is follow this X handle that regularly shares the server status of XDefiant and other games. You can also visit the Official Status Website, where they share all scheduled downtimes. The official site is excellent for planned maintenance but does not report unplanned outages such as a server glitch. To do so, you can go to your X handle or check the Downdetector website. You can also visit Reddit to see if other players have the same error. When several players have the same issue, it’s usually a server problem.
