Erythrite Crystal is an important resource in Dune: Awakening, if you are planning to craft higher-level items like Cobalt Paste. These crystals are easy to spot because of their bright pink shine, but finding them can be tricky if you don’t know where to look. In this guide, we will show you exactly where to find Erythrite Crystals, what tools you will need to mine them, how to use them, and how to trade or buy them from other players.
Where To Find Erythrite Crystal
Erythrite Crystals are big, shiny pink crystals that look like diamonds, and you will need them to craft Cobalt Paste. If you’re not sure where to find them, the item description gives you a clue, head to the Hagga Rift region.
Once you open your map and make your way there, look for the CHOAM Mineral Extraction Factories scattered across the eastern and northern parts of the Rift. Go into any of these mines, and you’ll spot the crystals growing from the ground and walls.
Erythrite Crystals can be found in the underground parts of the Hagga Rift. Keep an eye out for the massive chasm that cuts through the region, and don’t forget to check the Moisture Sealed Caves in the tunnel walls these are all great places to look.
Just walk up to them and use your Cutteray to mine them. Explore the whole area to gather a good amount of these crystals for crafting. To collect Erythrite Crystals from their ore deposit, you will need the right tools. You can use Cutteray Mk2, Mk3, Mk4, Mk5, or Mk6, as well as Olef’s Quickcutter or Callie’s Breaker. Just equip one of these and start mining to get the crystals.
Buying Erythrite Crystal
You can try buying the parts you need from other players through the Exchange, the in-game auction house run by players themselves. Just keep in mind, the prices are set by the sellers, so they might vary a lot. Another option is to trade directly with other players. You can usually find people to trade with in social areas like Arrakeen.
How to Use Erythrite Crystal
Erythrite Crystal can be used to make Cobalt Paste. For that, you will need to use a Small Chemical Refinery. Just add 3 Erythrite Crystals and 75 units of Water into the refinery, and you will get 1 Cobalt Paste after the process is done.
