Where To Find Carbide Scraps & Diamondine In Dune Awakening

In Dune: Awakening, crafting and upgrading your gear often depends on rare materials and two of the most valuable ones are Carbide Scraps and Diamondine Dust. If you’re out exploring dangerous zones or prefer to buy what you need, there are a few ways to get your hands on them. Here’s a simple guide to help you track down both resources.

Where To Find Carbide Scraps In Dune Awakening

Carbide Scraps are a bit of a mystery in Dune: Awakening. These industrial leftovers are strangely found inside locked chests in places like Eastern Shield Wall and Mysa Tarill, especially in sacred areas guarded by the Maas Kharet. No one really knows why they’re hidden there but if you’re lucky, you’ll stumble upon a few while exploring.

If you don’t feel like hunting for them, you can also buy Carbide Scraps from certain merchants:

  • Zoe
  • Asmara Efendi
  • Ant Nostrum

Each of them sells Carbide Scraps for 3,500 Solaris, and they usually keep a stock of 15 units.

You can also try your luck at the Exchange, the in-game auction house run by other players. Prices there depend entirely on what players decide to charge. If you prefer face-to-face trading, check out social hubs like Arrakeen.

Carbide Scraps are actually used in 24 different crafting recipes, so it’s worth collecting and holding onto them when you can.

Where To Find Diamondine In Dune Awakening

Diamondine Dust is a rare industrial byproduct that’s surprisingly well-protected by the Maas Kharet in one of their most sacred areas. No one really knows why they guard it so fiercely, but if you’re looking to get your hands on some, you’ll want to explore areas like Eastern Shield Wall and Mysa Tarill.

Mysa Tarill is just southwest of the Eastern Shield Wall. To reach it, follow the cliffs just north of Western Vermillius Gap. Once you’re there, you’ll find several chests scattered around the area. Loot them and you might find Diamondine Dust, along with other useful materials like Carbide Scraps.

If exploring isn’t your thing, you can also buy Diamondine Dust from these merchants:

  • Asmara Efendi
  • Zoe
  • Ant Nostrum

Each vendor sells it for 3,500 Solaris, and they usually carry a stock of 15 units.

You can also check out the Exchange, the game’s player-run auction house, where prices are set by other players. Or if you’re more into player-to-player trades, head over to social hubs like Arrakeen.

Diamondine Dust is used in several crafting recipes, so it’s worth collecting whenever you get the chance.
