After teleporting, turn left and follow the path until you encounter Esselings. Defeat these enemies to unlock a chest on a buried platform to your right. Clear out all the Esselings before looting the chest to get the Mark of Life sketch.
To craft the top, you will need the following materials:
- Bitey Fabric x6: Dropped by Bitey Bags, which can be found in the Dream Warehouse stage during the Go to the Warehouse! Main Quest.
- Tricky Patch x6: Dropped by Spear Sacks, often found in groups in the northern area of Florawish.
- Thread of Purity x40
- Bling x4000
Make sure to gather the required materials before crafting.
How to Defeat Esselings
To defeat Esselings use Winds of Purity ability, which grants Nikki a powerful plunging attack, which she can use mid-air to release a purifying burst upon landing. This attack is effective for defeating groups of Esselings in the area where Nikki lands. Nikki’s health is shown as five hearts at the bottom centre of the screen, with each Esseling hit taking away one heart. If Nikki loses all her heart, she will faint and be sent back to the nearest Warp Spire.
During combat, players need to stay mobile by running and dashing. This helps avoid being caught by Esselings or hit by enemy projectiles. To ensure Nikki’s purifying orbs hit their targets, look for a white outline around enemies in the orb’s path. This indicates that the enemy will be hit if Nikki fires at that moment. If there are many enemies clustered together, use the Bubble Voyage’s increased jump height to gain altitude for a plunging attack, which can quickly clear out groups. Keep in mind that the plunging attack has a significant amount of end lag, meaning Nikki will take some time to act again after landing.
The Kindled Inspiration: Animal Traces quest
The Kindled Inspiration: Animal Traces quest is located north of the Stoneville Warp Spire in Breezy Meadow, within the Heartcraft Kingdom. Head north from the Stoneville Entrance Warp Spire until you spot some houses and fenced-in sheep. Auri will be standing near one of the fences. To unlock Kindled Inspiration: Animal Traces, you can complete the Kindled Inspiration: Deft Exuberance quest first or simply interact with Auri to start it directly. Remember, Auri is only around from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM in-game time, so you might need to adjust the time to talk to him.
Rewards
After completing the quest you will be rewarded with Diamonds x20 and Peace with Birds hat sketch. You can earn the Silver trophy, “Esseling Exterminator,” by defeating 500 Esselings. If you keep defeating enemies you come across in the open world you will unlock the trophy faster.
