The Wax On, Wax Off trophy is a Silver trophy in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Wax On, Wax Off Trophy Achievement
Wax On, Wax Off is a Silver trophy in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. It can be received for: Parry all of The Boss’s CQC attacks. You need to do it during the Boss Battle, or you will not get another chance to get the achievement.
How to Get Wax On, Wax Off Trophy Achievement
This trophy is much easier to get in the remake. The Boss uses two types of CQC (close-quarters combat) attacks that you need to parry.
- The first one happens at the very start of the fight. She will run up and try to grab you. When this happens, the game will slow down and you will hear a “woosh” sound. Quickly press R2 to counter and throw her to the ground.
- The second one happens later, when her health or stamina drops below half. Get close to her so she tries another CQC combo. This one is longer and needs you to press R2 twice, once for each part of the combo. Again, the game slows down, and you will hear the “woosh” sound each time.
You only need to successfully counter both of these types of attacks once in the same fight. You don’t need to parry every CQC move she uses. Once you have parried both, the trophy will unlock.
