Highlights
- The route to the Undead Forest can be very confusing.
- The path heading towards the northwest is an incorrect route as it leads to nowhere near the Undead Forest.
- The real entrance is through the Collapsed Tunnel near Josee’s Outpost.
Code Vein 2 can make it difficult to find the Undead Forest, as the directions through the game do not provide much guidance. This guide will tell you where the false path leads, what the true entrance to the Undead Forest is, and how you can access the Undead Forest without having to waste time searching on roads that are blocked.
Reaching the Undead Forest

The Undead Forest is an area within Code Vein 2 that can be difficult to find. You can see it on the map, but trying to use the most direct route will lead to nowhere.
If you explore the world map once you get to the next point in the storyline, you will find a road to the northwest. It appears that this is the way to go, but you won’t be able to continue past that point nor will you be able to go anywhere else from there.
The Correct Entry Point

To enter into the Undead Forest you need to go to a different location than what is displayed on your map or what is in sight. You can access the Collapsed Tunnel that is near Josee’s Outpost, which is actually how you will get inside Undead Forest.
It is a straightforward tunnel with only one way to go, but the presence of a Mistle midway through will help you know you’re going in the right direction. When you continue on from there, you will be able to go straight into the Undead Forest and start completing your first Hero Objectives; however, many areas cannot be accessed until after you’ve progressed further through your journey.
