The Transient mission in the new Destiny 2 DLC is a short but action-packed part of the Exile’s Accord questline. In this mission, you will break into the House of Exile’s power plant and shut it down while using a special tool called the Relocator to get past barriers. There’s a small puzzle to solve, a boss fight to win, and plenty of enemies to clear out along the way. This guide will help you get through each step without missing anything.

Transient Mission Walkthrough in Destiny 2 DLC

The Transient mission has you breaking into the House of Exile’s power plant and shutting it down. You will be using the Relocator launcher a lot during this run, so get familiar with it. You can access this mission as part of the Exile’s Accord questline. It’s a pretty short mission overall, with one puzzle to solve and a boss fight to clear. The only part that might trip you up is the final section, where you need to figure out how to overload a generator to finish the job.

How to Complete the Transient Mission in Destiny 2 DLC

Push your way through the hallways and take out the flying Corsairs as you go. Once you use the Relocator to teleport past the first barrier, drop a Rally Banner and head toward the Station Generators. Shut down the barriers there to trigger a Darkness zone. From here, you will need to fight off waves of Fallen and disable four Splinter Mines.

Use the Relocator that you found to enter the enormous sphere in the larger room ahead of you. Activate the Matterspark to overload the terminals, then shoot at the centre of the big structure. After that, more Fallen will rush in and take them all out. When the room is clear, grab your rewards and head back to Kepler to keep progressing through The Exile’s Accord.
