The Treasure of Daybreak Exploration quest is a bit different from the others you’ve encountered so far, as it requires you to solve a small puzzle to finish it. Below, we’ll go over how to complete the Treasure of Daybreak quest and how to locate the treasure using the map.

Treasure of Daybreak Quest in Throne and Liberty

Treasure of Daybreak is one of the trickier Exploration quests in Throne and Liberty. It has a different approach compared to many other world quests. While it may seem complicated to some players, successfully finishing it takes patience and careful attention. Taking on side quests like Treasure of Daybreak is an excellent way to level up quickly in Throne and Liberty. If you’re waiting to reach a specific level to move forward with the main quest, prioritize this one.

How to Search Treasure Location in Treasure of Daybreak Quest

The Treasure of Daybreak quest starts automatically as soon as you enter the Monolith Wastelands in Chapter 6. This area is located just outside Vienta Village, but you’ll need to climb the cliff to the south to continue with the quest. Be prepared for hostile monsters in this area; if you’re playing a DPS class in Throne and Liberty, you should be able to take them down quickly. If not, you can just run past them. Defeat Flame Fighters until you get a Loot Chest Key. Then head to the Sandflame Bandit Base and find the locked chest that contains a map. Follow the location marked on the map after that locate and open the hidden treasure.

Flame Fighters are bandits found in the southern section of the Monolith Wastelands, where you’ll come across entire villages of them. Keep battling until you get a key to drop. Once you have the key, head to a tent in the Sandflame Bandit Base (marked on the map above) to find a chest. Inside, you’ll discover a treasure map that leads you to the Treasure of Daybreak.

Location of Treasure of Daybreak

The treasure is buried somewhere in the desert. Based on the map you found, it’s located near two stone obelisks to the north, close to the Sandworm Lair waypoint. You’ll know you’re in the right spot if you find a Mysterious Book next to one of the obelisks. Keep in mind that other players might also be around looking for the treasure.

You can’t just dig up the treasure right away. As the map indicates, it will only appear about a minute after dawn, which is how it got its name. You can check the in-game time by hovering your cursor over the round icon in the upper-left corner of your mini-map. It will show a timer counting down the minutes until morning.
