Throne and Liberty Mining Guide – (TL) Veins, Ores, Weather Effects, Farming Ore, Best Locations, and More

There’s nothing better than seeing your character in Throne and Liberty wearing the best gear. But to get there, you’ll need to gather resources for upgrades. Mining is a big part of the game, and it’s how you get all kinds of ores and veins to upgrade your equipment and craft accessories. In this guide, we’ll show you how to mine, where to find the ores, the weather effects, and mach more so you can craft the perfect equipment for your character.

How to Mine in Throne and Liberty

Mining in Throne and Liberty is an easy task. Just like gathering, you’ll spot Ore veins on the map. Once you find one, go up to it and press the interact button to start mining.

Keep an eye on the top right corner of your screen for tiny, crystal-shaped icons. These mark the location of nearby mining veins. But be quick, as veins only appear once, and everyone wants a piece of the ore. So, race to the vein and hit the interact button to start mining before someone else takes it. Unlike other games, veins don’t reappear in the same spot. They’ll pop up somewhere else nearby, so be careful. Once you find a vein, get close and press the mining button. Your character will channel for a bit and then extract the ores.

What are Veins in Throne and Liberty

Veins come in different shapes and sizes, producing various types of ores. A Moonstone Vein will give you some Pure Manasteel and Pure Gold Ore. But if you find a Gigantic Moonstone Vein, you’ll get even more of those ores, plus some extra drops like green or blue items.

Here’s a list of all the different ore nodes you can mine in Throne and Liberty.

Name of the VeinsOres to be found
Moonstone– Rare Natural Essence- Silk Mollusk- Jingling Shaccoon
Gigantic Moonstone– Rare Pure Gold- Precious Pure Gold- Rare Manasteel- Wandering Youth Gneiss- Rare Emeret Ore
Pure White Moonstone– Rare Rubrix Ore – Quality Rubrix Ore – Rare Stalon Ore

How are Ores Used in Throne and Liberty

Once you’ve mined some ore, you can take it to a Weapons Crafter or Accessories Crafter. They can help you sell your ore, upgrade it, or use it to create new gear. All craftsmen can be found in the major towns and cities.

Weapons crafters can turn low-quality ore into refined ores, but this will cost money and some materials. The accessory craftsmen can also make accessories for your character. Refined ores can also be used to craft your gear, jewelry, and other materials.

How Weather Effects Mining in Throne and Liberty

The weather can also affect the available resources in the mining nodes, which include veins. Precious Pure Gold, for example, is relatively easy to find if it is raining. Veins that are affected by the weather will often shine or sparkle. Some veins, like Moonstone veins, behave differently at night and during the day. One cycle of day/night will take 5 hours in real-time. Try mining at different times of day/night and in different weather to getet more ores.

How to Farm Ores in Throne and Liberty

Different places have different types of ore, but mining veins isn’t the only way to get them. You can also find raw materials in treasure chests, as rewards for guild contracts or events, and sometimes even as drops from enemies.

Best Locations to Mine Ores

If you want to find more resources, you’ll usually need to go to higher-level areas. The road between Windhil Shores and Nesting Grounds, the edges of the Shattered Temple, as shown on the above map, and the middle part of the Urstella Fields have good Moonstone and Gigantic Moonstone Veins.

The road north towards the Fonos Basin and the middle of the Black Anvil Forge has concentrated Marind Veins deposits.

You can find lots of Moonstone and Gigantic Moonstone Veins in the areas I mentioned earlier, and Marind Veins are usually found in more advanced areas like Fonos Basin and Black Anvil. But there’s a trick to get a lot of Marind early on: ride the Gigantrite.
