In Abiotic Factor, “Bad Soda” is one of the strange things you will find. It is a deformed version of normal soda and has no label. It helps a little with thirst but also gives you a tiny bit of radiation, making it not the safest choice. In this guide, we will go over what the Bad Soda does, why it’s a bit risky to use, and how you can get your hands on one.
The Bad Soda in Abiotic Factor
The Bad Soda in Abiotic Factor is exactly what it sounds like: a suspicious-looking can of soda that’s probably seen better days. It looks like a knockoff or a defective version of Kizz Cola, and to make things worse, it doesn’t even have a label or any markings to tell you what’s actually inside.
Drinking it will refill a bit of your thirst about 25 points but it also gives off a tiny bit of radiation (just 0.01 rads per second), so it’s definitely not the healthiest choice. The can itself is made of metal, which you can break down for scrap if you’d rather not risk drinking it. It’s lightweight and stacks up to four per inventory slot, so you might end up carrying a few whether you want to or not.
The Bad Soda Location
You can get the Bad Soda by hitting a Kizz Cola vending machine with a heavy weapon. Unlike most machines in the Abiotic Factor, this one doesn’t break when you smack it. Instead, the next time you use it, it will spit out a can of Bad Soda before going back to giving you regular Kizz Cola. It’s like the machine glitches out for a moment and gives you this radioactive drink.
