In Tainted Grail, if you would like to complete The Last Voyage quest, this guide will walk you through the quest step by step. From meeting Lady Elaine at the Horns of the South, to finding a shipwreck, to defeating various enemy types. Just follow the journey and uncover the various hidden locations and enemies.
The Last Voyage Quest
Head to Ron’s Tavern in the Village. Here you will find Lady Elaine, talk to her. You will find this place in the Horns of the South area. She will ask you a few questions to get to know you, then hand you a book. Make sure to read it carefully and answer her questions correctly.
Once that’s done, she will tell you about a ship called the Andraste that sank long ago. She doesn’t know exactly where it went down, but she believes it might hold clues about a valuable relic. To find out more, she will send you to speak with someone named Rhydderic at the museum inside the Fortress in the same region. The location of the museum is marked in the map above.
Finding the Shipwreck
Now follow the quest marker to reach Rhydderic. Talk to him, and he will tell you exactly where the Andraste sank, it’s right off the coast near Smuggler’s Bay. Head there, follow the path, and you will come across the shipwreck. Inside the wreck, you will find a chest with Captain Lex’s Diary, along with some coins, other valuable items, and a special shield called the Aegis of Retribution.
When you read the diary, you will learn that the crew hid more items in a nearby cave. Once inside the cave, get ready to fight off some Drowners. Keep pushing forward, and eventually, you will face a tough boss called the Scourge of the Seas. Take it down, and make sure to loot its body, you will find a powerful weapon called the Tidepiercer.
Rewards
Keep exploring the cave, and at the end, you will find the statue Lady Elaine was so curious about. It looks like a statue but it’s actually the skeleton of a Fore Dweller. Head back to Lady Elaine at Ron’s Tavern to share what you found. Talk to her, the quest will wrap up and you will earn 1000 XP as your reward.
