Feast for the Poor is a side mission in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 located in the Kuttenberg Region, at the Hole in the Wall Tavern. Offered by Chenyek, this quest becomes available upon Main Quest 14: Speak of the Devil. Players are required to aid the local poor by interfering with Sigismund’s sausage distribution and stealing wine as an option for Knuckles in order to gain 100 Groschen. The quest ties into the larger narrative, leading into Civic Duty and The Thieves’ Code. It’s a supply-based quest that ends in returning to Chenyek, so it’s a choice mission involving moral and strategic choices.
Feast for the Poor Side Quest
To start this quest, you will need to talk to Chenyek at the Hole in the Wall Tavern in Kuttenberg City. You need to first convince him to share information about Goatskin. This step is required for Main Quest 16: Into the Underworld, so you can complete it as part of the main story, unless they skip speaking with Chenyek altogether.
There are three ways to persuade him: you can agree to fight Goliath, pay Chenyek 200 Groschen, or pass a speech check. Once convinced, he will give you the details needed to continue the quest. Once you have convinced Chenyek, he will mention another job for you, which you can either take on immediately or return to later.
Before proceeding, he will test your knowledge with a few questions:

Answer correctly, agree to join the guild, and accept his plan to officially start the quest.
Knuckles’ Request
Before heading to the warehouse, you have the option to talk to Knuckles, a man inside the tavern who will call out to you. When you speak with him, he will ask you to steal a bottle of wine from the warehouse, claiming he can sell it for a high price.
If you agree, he will give you some helpful supplies, including 3 Lockpicks, 1 Weak Quickfinger Potion, and 1 Weak Nighthawk Potion to assist with your break-in.
To disrupt Sigismund’s sausage supply, follow Chenyek’s suggestion and buy at least one cabbage from a grocer in the middle of Kuttenberg before heading to the warehouse. The warehouse is located just outside the city walls to the south.
Since guards patrol the entrances, it’s best to wear stealth-friendly clothing and wait until after 21:00 to sneak in. If you have Mutt with you, command him to stay outside or send him home, as his presence can attract guards and make stealth more difficult.
Sneaking into the Warehouse
To avoid the guards at the main entrances, head to the west side, climb through an open window, drop into the building, exit to the right, jump the fence, and enter the central building. Make your way carefully to the green tent and find the entrance at the back.
Inside, there’s a very hard locked chest containing the sausage. If your Thievery skill isn’t high enough, drink the Quickfinger potion to improve your chances. If that still doesn’t work, you’ll need to pickpocket a nearby soldier sitting by the central building for the key.
Use the Quickfinger potion before attempting to pickpocket him to increase your success rate. Once you have the sausage, don’t forget to replace it with the cabbage you purchased earlier.
Steal Wine from the Warehouse
If you decide to steal the wine for Knuckles, head to the opposite side of the central building, where you’ll find a very hard locked chest containing the wine. Once you have taken what you need, you can leave the area by climbing the ladder next to the green tent, the same spot where you found the sausages.
Once you have handed out the sausage to five beggars, head back to Chenyek at the Hole in the Wall tavern to complete the quest. If you also stole the wine, you can give it to Knuckles, who will be waiting outside, though this step is optional and not required for the quest.
