Dragon Age: The Veilguard has fun puzzles to solve all over Thedas. It’s not just for passing time when an interesting storyline is around the corner; it is also the chance to search for those rare items only found in special places. In Dragon Age: The Veilguard, players wandering through the Hossberg Wetlands will encounter a tricky puzzle in the Sheltered Glade. Solving this puzzle unlocks hidden treasures and valuable crafting materials. With just a bit of strategy and special skills, working through these steps and completing this puzzle to collect your treasure is easy.

Where to Find the Sheltered Glade Statues

To start the Sheltered Glade Statue Puzzle, begin your journey at the Lava Caves. This area is filled with molten lava and underground tunnels. Head to the eastern part of the cave to find a journal. This journal will start the quest called “The Price of the Past.” Once you complete the quest, you’ll get a treasure box containing Ser Ifean. Next, use your map to locate SharksMouth Mountain. You’ll find three unique statues on a raised platform in this area. These statues are the key to solving the puzzle.

The Sheltered Glades Statues puzzle can be found in the Sheltered Glade part of the Hossberg Wetlands. There’s a treasure chest on a broken platform that you can’t reach yet. You need to solve a puzzle with three statues to get to it.

First, you’ll need to clean up the area. There are some nasty blight boils at the top of the platform. Use your Blight Hunter ability on the biggest one, the Blight Abscess, to eliminate it. Then, use your ranged attacks to take out the two smaller boils. You can also use Davrin’s special power to attack the most enormous blight boil. This will allow you to destroy the two smaller blight boils by shooting them from a distance.

After you remove the blight, a ladder will appear where the big blight was. Climb it to reach the puzzle. Once the area is clear, you can focus on solving the statue puzzle to get the treasure chest.

How to Solve the Sheltered Glade Statues Puzzle

To solve the puzzle, you must turn the statues to face the nearest fire. When you turn them correctly, the fire will turn green. You need to make all three fires turn green to open the door to the treasure chest. The statues are on a very old and broken platform. This makes it hard to find all three fires. One of the fires has fallen to the ground.

Turn the first statue so it faces the left wall. There’s a fire brazier on that wall. Turn the second statue to face the gap on the right. There’s a fire brazier on a pillar across the gap. Finally, turn the third statue to face the side with the ladder. There’s a fire brazier on the ground near the edge.

Once you’ve turned all three statues, the big door on the other side of the gap will open. Behind the door, you’ll find a treasure chest. Jump to the next platform and open the chest to get the reward. This chest contains gold and a special material called Fade-Touched Ore. You can use these to upgrade your equipment.

Conclusion

The Sheltered Glade Statues Puzzle in the Hossberg Wetlands of Dragon Age: The Veilguard is a rewarding challenge that gives you treasure, gold, and highly sought-after crafting materials. It takes a little strategy and skill to finally clear the area from its blight and properly position each statue into its respective fire brazier, but the final reward makes up for that. With the rewards from the treasure chest, including the valuable Fade-Touched Ore, players can significantly enhance their gear, preparing them for tougher battles ahead.
