Smuggler’s Hideout Intel & Mountain Hideout Treasure Location in Star Wars Outlaws

The Smuggler’s Hideout quest in Star Wars Outlaws combines exploration, parkour, and problem-solving. It’s divided into several steps, but the objectives are clear and manageable. Here’s an easy guide to help you complete this mission and collect valuable rewards.

Locating the Smuggler’s Hideout Intel in Star Wars Outlaws

To locate the Smuggler’s Hideout, you first need to gather some intel.

  • Go to Crimson Dawn Territory: Head to this area to start your search.
  • Search the Crimson Dawn Base: Enter the base and look for consoles. One of them has a Datapad.
  • Collect the Intel: Interact with the Datapad to get details about the Smuggler’s Hideout location, which is southeast of Typhon’s Rock.

How to Reach the Smuggler’s Hideout

Once you have the location, follow these steps to reach the hideout:

  • Start Near Shipjacker Workshop: Go to the elevated area to the right of this location.
  • Use the Orange Ramp: You’ll see an orange ramp before you. Use your Speeder to jump across the gap. Make sure to hit the boost just before going up the ramp.
  • Climb and Clear the Path: After crossing, climb two rock formations until you find a boulder blocking the way. Switch your Blaster to Bolt mode and charge up a shot to destroy it.
  • Navigate the Rocks: Go through the opening, jump over a gap, and follow the rocks until you reach a spinning fan.
  • Turn Off the Fan: Use your Blaster to break another boulder nearby. This reveals a box and lets you switch off the fan. Once done, you’ll see the message “Intel Resolved: Smuggler’s Hideout.”

Unlocking the Hidden Door in Smuggler’s Hideout

Upon reaching the Smuggler’s Hideout, you’ll encounter a locked door. To unlock it, you’ll need to activate three fans:

Note: There is no particular order to turn the fans on. We have used numbering to make the guide easier to understand.

  • First fan: When you exit through the fan into the open, you will see the first fan ahead. Use Nix to pull one of the levers while you pull the other simultaneously to turn on the fan.
  • Second fan: The second fan is the one you used to exit into the open. But, to get this fan working, you need to go around the fan on your left. There is a wall you can climb. Once there, use Nix to turn on the fan.
  • Third Fan: To find the third fan, take the path down from the first fan. Go down and then right. At the end, a rock blocks the fan. Blow it to get the fan working.
  • Collect the Treasure: The door will open once all fans are activated. Inside the door, you’ll find a treasure chest containing the HD05-G Blaster Key Part, useful for upgrading your blaster later.

Star Wars Outlaws: Optional but Worth It

Opening the hidden door isn’t required to finish the quest, but it’s worth doing. The HD05-G Blaster Key Part upgrades your weapon, giving you more firepower for tougher challenges.

Star Wars Outlaws: Tips

  • Ensure your Speeder is in good condition, especially with the boost upgrade, to make jumps easier and faster. A well-maintained Speeder will help you clear large gaps and maintain speed for tricky maneuvers.
  • Master the Bolt mode on your Blaster, as it’s key for breaking through obstacles like rocks. Charge the shot for maximum impact and use it to clear paths. Practicing this mode ensures smoother progress when faced with blockages.
  • Use Nix’s abilities to activate levers and solve puzzles quickly. His interactions with the environment will streamline your progress through the Smuggler’s Hideout.

Conclusion: By completing the Smuggler’s Hideout quest in Star Wars Outlaws, you’ll uncover hidden treasures and gain valuable upgrades for your blaster. This mix of exploration, parkour, and problem-solving creates an exciting adventure, ensuring you’re well-prepared for tougher challenges. Embrace the journey, and may the rewards fuel your success in the galaxy!
