Dragon Slayer Quest Guide
Siege the Goblin Castle and Look for Cathan is part of the Dragon Slayer Quest. To start the quest, you need to head over to the Wise Old Man he’ll either be in the church or somewhere in Bramblemead Valley. Talk to him, and he’ll get you started on the hunt for General Velgar. But first, he’ll ask you to bring him some antlers, which you can collect from the deer wandering around the valley. Once you hand them over, he’ll cast a locator spell to track down young Cathan. The spell will lead you to a nearby castle in the valley, which is where you’ll be heading next.
How to Get Antler
You can get antlers by hunting deer, but they’re tricky to track. Deer have a sharp sense of awareness and will run away if they notice you. Bramblemead Valley is a good place to find them, and the Temple Woods are also worth exploring. Use a bow for the hunt. When sneaking up, be sure to crouch and move slowly, as deer can detect you from a distance. Once you’re close enough, aim your bow and hold the fire button to unleash a heavy attack. A single well-aimed arrow should do the trick to take down a deer.
Siege the Goblin Castle and Look for Cathan
When you get to the castle, you’ll notice it looks a lot like Lumbridge Castle except this one’s draped in Bandosian banners. The place is crawling with goblins, so make sure to bring plenty of health potions. You will find a Goblin Archer and Goblin Bruiser near the entrance so be ready to fight it with a bow and arrow. In the first level of the castle you will also find another Goblin Anrcher and Bruiser.
Head to the top of the castle, where you’ll find Cathan’s Journal lying next to a loot chest. Give it a read, and you’ll learn that your next stop is the Whispering Swamp, where you’ll need to track down something called the “blue-flame door.”
