Get ready to solve cube puzzles and crush pressure challenges in the Shrine of Pressure on Stellaris Prime! This guide breaks down each room’s solution, helping you bypass forcefields, use EKO smartly, and unlock the shrine’s secrets in Revenge of the Savage Planet.
The Under Pressure Challenge
The Shrine of Pressure is located on Stellaris Prime and you’ve probably seen the teleporter for this shrine early on, it’s near where you capture the Hognork but it’s blocked by a green forcefield you can’t pass through. You’ll need to come back once you’ve reached Scrappi’s mountaintop contraption on Quasadron IX. That’s when you unlock the final upgrade for EKO, your trusty drone, which lets you take control of it remotely. Fly EKO through the forcefield and have it deactivate the switch inside. Boom—teleporter’s open. Head in.
This whole shrine is basically a fun nod to Portal. You’ll be using weighted cubes to hold down pressure plates and open doors across three rooms. Here’s how you can open the doors easily:
Room 1
- Straightforward start. There’s a pressure plate in the middle of the room.
- Step on it, the door opens—step off, it closes.
- Head left and whip away a wall of Fecal Beetle poop (gross, but necessary).
- Behind it is your first cube. Plop it on the plate and move on.
Room 2
- First, grab a Bombegranate from the plant on the left.
- Walk around the corner and you’ll find a section of floor you can blow up.
- Toss the grenade, drop down, and you’ll see a Lava Goo dispenser.
- Collect some Lava Goo, go back to the plant, and burn the webs behind it to grab your first cube.
- Put that on the pressure plate.
- Now find the raised walkway.
- Look underneath it—there’s another cube caught in some webbing.
- Burn it free and add it to the plate to open the door.
Room 3
- Ignore the plate at first. Go in, take a left, and break down another poop wall.
- There’s a second pressure plate back here. Step on it, and it opens a door across the room.
- Now remote-control EKO, fly through that door, and follow the purple arrows until you reach an interface point.
- That will drop a cube into the main room. Place that on the pressure plate you just stepped off of.
- Now go through the door EKO just flew through, but this time ignore the arrows and drop down.
- Bust through yet another poop wall to find a magnetic chunk. Grab it with your Magnet Fork and return to the main room.
Look for a magnetic wall above a glowing Magnet Fork symbol. Break it to release one last cube. Add it to the pressure plate with the other one and the final door will open. Head in and claim your reward!
