Stuck at the Secret Chamber of the Golden Plains puzzle? You’re not alone. It is a hard puzzle to find the solution and solve on your own given that its solution is spread throughout the Demeniss. You’ll be rewarded with an Abyss Cresset for your efforts of solving the puzzle. In this guide we’ll show exactly how to solve the puzzle and also where to find the solution for the puzzle for players who want to really get into it and earn it themselves.
Secret Chamber of the Golden Plains Puzzle Location
Head to the above location on the map shown in the above first image which is north of Demeniss at the Byron Estate. Try to identify the ruins shown in the above second picture, it’ll be covered with roots.
How to clear the roots?
Use the blinding light focus skill on the roots and hold it for a few seconds, it’ll burn the roots and clear the pathway into the ruins.
Then go through the entrance down the stairs but be careful as there is a fire trap at the bottom of the stairs, you can crouch or use double jump to get past the trap and then take right, you’ll see a door that leads to the chamber of golden plain.
Where to find the clues for the puzzle?
Once you enter the chamber, go inside the room shown in the above first image and you’ll see a mural of Demeniss map on the wall which also has some “X” marks on the map. If you visit the “X” marked places then you’ll find the clues required to solve the puzzle. For players who just want to solve the puzzle and claim the abyss cresset, you’ll find the solution below.
The Solution to Secret Chamber of the Golden Plains Puzzle
Take left when you enter the chamber and go through here, you’ll find yourself with a room full of traps.
There are saw traps near the side walls and spikes on the ground, just use the aerial force palm skill to gain some altitude and use abyss wings to glide to the other side of the hall.
After you go through the entrance, you’ll reach the Secret Chamber of the Golden Plains and you’ll see the puzzle on the left side of the wall.
Use force palm skill on the marked tiles, the order of the tiles doesn’t matter. Once you do that, the puzzle wall retracts and reveals the Secret Chamber with the Abyss Cresset inside.
