Savannah’s Journal Location in The Outer Worlds 2

In The Outer Worlds 2, Savannah’s Journal is an important quest item that helps you learn more about the story and certain characters, especially De Vries. You will need it for the side quest “Stalking an Associate of Angry Ascendance.” In this guide, we will show you how to get Savannah’s Journal.

Savannah’s Journal Quest

Savannah’s Journal is a quest item. These items are special story-related objects that you collect during your journey. They’re used to complete main missions, side quests, or faction-related tasks. Once you get a quest item, it automatically goes into your inventory; you can’t sell, drop, or dismantle it. Each one usually helps move the story forward or unlocks key dialogue options.

In the Stalking an Associate of Angry Ascendance side quest, you need Savannah’s Journal. The  Journal provides clues about De Vries and can be used to get Savannah to admit she knows her, especially if you failed to hack De Vries’ terminal earlier in the game. Without this journal and the right dialogue options, you won’t be able to unlock the best outcome in the questline connected to De Vries.

How to Get Savannah’s Journal

You can find Savannah’s Journal in the Excogitation Chapel, located just northeast of Fairfield on Paradise Island, the first main area you explore after the opening mission. Remember, if you have already progressed far enough in the main story to confront De Vries, Savannah might no longer be at the chapel.

Before entering the chapel, make sure you have the Pickpocket perk unlocked. Inside the chapel, look toward the back to find Savannah Lockwood sitting on a bench. Before talking to her, jump over the back of the bench. Once ready, face Savannah and pickpocket her. This will let you steal Savannah’s Journal.
