Crimson Desert’s Sanctorum of Darkness is a puzzle first Abyss challenge tucked into the Sleet Isles chain – a cold platforming gauntlet where clever use of Axiom Force and Force Palm replaces combat. Flip a grated entry, extract and reposition the energy chip then angle twin laser spheres with remote panels to unlock the final button, solve it cleanly to claim the Abyss Artifact and continue your journey.
Extracting and Repositioning the Energy Chip
After you’ve activated the Abyss Nexus, following the path will lead you to the puzzle area with a lower level, where you’ll notice a grated entry inside a concealed space where an energy chip lies.
Climb and hang onto the gate, use the resist action first and then use the Force Palm. This will flip the gate and you to the concealed space.
Restoring Power to the Sphere
Inside, you’ll notice the energy chip fixed into the socket, you need to pull the chip out which is going to deactivate the blue shield that blocks your way up. Move the chip as much as closer to the above opening and then head upward to the top through the same opening.
Pull the chip out and move it to your right, you’ll notice a socket that needs to be activated to restore power to the laser sphere. Fix the energy chip in the socket and the power is restored and you can now activate the laser sphere.
Restoring the Abyss
Use Axiom Force on the small area, back of the spheres. This will let you control the direction of the laser, point the lasers onto the yellow glowing button which is straight opposite to the sphere. Do the same with the other sphere as well and the power to the large button is restored.
After you’ve done that, quickly make haste to the other side before the big fans start rotating because they might kill you ( I died like that you know, I can write a book on “Unique ways to die in a game” ).
Once you’re there, use Force Palm or Force Current to push the button in order to restore the Sanctorum of Darkness Abyss and then head up above the button and you can claim the Abyss Artifact.
