Root’s End drops you into a vertical ruin where careful observation and clever Axiom use turn cramped corridors into a layered puzzle. From flip grates and laser lined tunnels to movable stone blocks and airborne power cells, this Abyss challenge rewards players who combine Force Palm with inventive platforming and exceptional aerial skills. Expect deliberate pacing: this is a relatively small challenge compared to other abyss challenges and use the teleporter at the end to reach the Abyss Artifact.
Path to the Puzzle
After you’ve completed the first step of the abyss challenge – activating the Abyss Nexus, head upwards and you’ll reach an open area with a grated path at the center.
Flipping the Grated Door
You have to flip the grate to enter below, to do that – you need to crouch on the grate and aim towards it and then use Force Palm ability to flip the grate and head inside.
You need to be swift while heading down because the path down is filled with lots of lasers and you don’t wanna get hurt. It’s fairly simple to be honest, dodging the lasers.
Activating the Teleporter
While you are going down, just before you reach the ground you’ll notice a battery floating high in the air. While traversing down, make sure to bring the battery along with you.
The next step is to activate the teleporter that teleports us to the Abyss Artifact. To do that, you need to fix the battery in the socket as shown in the above image, use the Axiom Force to move the battery closer to the socket and then use the Force Current or use Force Palm ability. This is going to activate the teleporter, hop on it and you’ll be teleported to the Abyss Artifact area.
Restoring Power to the Button
You’ll find another battery after you’ve been teleported to a new area, fix the battery in the socket and this will restore power to the big button on the ground at the front.
Restoring the Root’s End Abyss
Then use the Force Palm skill on the button and the Abyss will be restored and you can claim the Abyss Artifact.
