In Poppy Playtime Chapter 4, one of the biggest challenges will be to re-route the gas into storage tanks, avoiding all the obstacles and threats. In order to achieve this, you have to find a keycard, work with a series of levers and valves, and fix a jammed door all under pressure while alarms sound and nightmare creatures accumulate.
Redirect The Gas Into The Storage Tanks
You will need to get the gas flowing from the control room. To access it, you will need a keycard, which is located in the room at the top of the broken stairs.
- To reach it, pull the jump pad close to the stairs and use the Purple Hand to jump up. Once inside the room, look to the left, you will find the keycard on the table.
- Grab it, then head to the control room. Insert the keycard into the console and interact with the terminal to start the gas flow.
- To redirect the gas, start by pulling the red lever on the first pipe near the stairs to begin the flow. Next, pull the first yellow lever to shift the gas from the A tank to the B tank.
- Watch the gas flow and turn the last lever towards the left side of the C tank to redirect it properly.
- Then, divert the gas back into the A tank by adjusting the necessary valves.
- Once all three tanks are filled, turn the final lever on the pipes to send the gas into the storage tank. Finally, pull the red lever on the main pipe beneath the control room to complete the process.
- As alarms blare and nightmare critters gather outside, you will need to escape through the control room, but the door is malfunctioning.
- To fix it, grab the cogwheel from the locker and head left after exiting the control room.
Look up and use the Grabpack to pull yourself up until you have a clear view of the door mechanism on top of the control room. Insert the cogwheel to repair the door, then quickly drop down and make your way through the control room to the next area.
Tips
- Before starting the gas flow, scan the area for useful objects, enemy threats, and key locations to avoid wasting time under pressure.
- Position the jump pad carefully near the broken stairs to reach the keycard easily without multiple attempts.
- As soon as the gas is redirected, expect nightmare critters to appear. Have an escape plan in mind and move quickly.
- When repairing the door, aim for the handle above and keep pulling yourself up smoothly to avoid getting stuck or falling.
- Once you insert the cogwheel, drop down and exit fast before enemies close in. Don’t hesitate.
- If you fail, knowing the sequence will help you retry quickly. Pay attention to lever positions and door mechanisms for a smoother run.
