How to Start the Raw Leaf Porridge
To begin this quest, make your way to South Gate Avenue and look for Zhen Ping’an standing along the street. Talk to him to get things started. You’ll find Zhen Ping’an standing out on the street near the Little Pharmacy. When you talk to him the first time, he’ll tell you his whole story about the porridge, his mother, and the cure he’s hoping for. After the conversation ends, speak to him again; this time, he’ll open a trade-style window, expecting you to hand over a prescription.
How to Get a Prescription
Once that’s done, teleport to the Forsaken Quarter and walk down toward the river. The game doesn’t put a clear marker on your map for this part, and your inventory can be a bit confusing. It looks like you already have the item even when you actually don’t.
You’ll find Fu Wenshu waiting by the riverbank. He’ll give you a prescription, take it back to Zhen Ping’an in South Gate Avenue. It is also recommended to talk to the NPC again after their initial dialogue to access their inventory for the prescription. Hand it over, and the quest is complete.
Completing this quest is definitely worth your time. You’ll earn 30 Echo Jade, 10 Kaifeng Exploration Points, 2,500 coins, and 2,500 stored EXP. It also pushes forward the “One Leaf, One Life: Phase II” storyline, so it’s a good idea to finish it while you’re already exploring Kaifeng and the nearby areas.
