Want PlatinumNumemon’s Jewelry in Digimon Story: Time Stranger? In this side mission, you’ll track down PlatinumNumemon, who is hiding, along with its loot, and return it to the Bearmon Brothers in Central Town. It’s all quite easy to do; however, finding this elusive Digimon can be tricky. In this guide, we review how to activate the quest and where to track down PlatinumNumemon and the reward after.
Starting the Quest
You’ll need to make sure that you defeat Vulcanusmon and complete the “Incoming Conflict Man” mission before taking on this quest. After that, the Bearmon Brothers will send out notifications that they’re now ready to go after PlatinumNumemon’s Jewelry. They can be found in Central Town in the downtown area with Solarmon, who is now a member of their group.
Next, join Big Bearmon Brother and head into the City Sewers, jumping over the broken fence by Arukenimon to enter. The sewers are full of respawning Digimon, so be prepared to face them.
Spotting the Elusive PlatinumNumemon
In the first sewer section, you’ll come across three Digimon that look like Numemon but are actually Geremon. After the fight, a cutscene will reveal PlatinumNumemon sneaking past in the background.
Next, visit the Warrior’s Watering Hole and speak with Deputymon. He’ll give misleading directions about where PlatinumNumemon is hiding. Once the conversation ends, you’ll be teleported back to the sewers, but facing the wrong way.
Finding and Defeating PlatinumNumemon
To locate PlatinumNumemon, spin around and head toward the sewer exit that leads back to Central Town. You’ll find the Digimon tucked away in a corner close to the entrance of an Outer Dungeon.The battle isn’t too tough. Simply focus on using Ground or Water moves repeatedly until PlatinumNumemon is defeated.
Afterward, grab the Jewelry and bring it back to the Bearmon Brothers. As a reward, you’ll unlock the Aura Recovery Skill, which gradually heals all your party members. This ability is especially useful for Digimon who focus on support and healing, such as Angewomon or Lillimon.
