In the Pinching the Pupa quest, you will get caught between two characters, Bradford and Wentworth, who both want a special Mantisaur egg for different reasons. Your main goal is to find this egg, fight your way through the enemies guarding it, and then decide who to give it to. Your choice will affect the rewards you get in Pinching the Pupa Quest in Outer Worlds 2.
Pinching the Pupa Quest

In the Pinching the Pupa quest, you will have to choose whether to help Bradford or Wentworth. Reach the location marked on the map above to find Bradford or Wentworth. Here, you will get the quest. First, your main goal is to find the egg and then decide who to give it to.
Finding the Egg

Head to the nest located in the southeast, following the quest marker on your map. Follow the glowing lights that lead toward the nest. There’s a fast travel point nearby if you’ve unlocked it. As you make your way there, you will run into several Mantisaur Drones and Wasps, so move carefully and take them out as you go.
It’s best to approach the area from the northwest side; this route will lead you straight to the Mantisaur Nest. Once you find it, head inside and get ready for a tough fight. You will face multiple Zyranium Mantipillars and Mantiwasps, so clear them out before exploring further.
Keep searching through the nest until you reach a dead end. Keep pushing through the enemies and follow the lights deeper into the area. Look around the debris, that’s where you will find the Zyranium Mantisaur Pupa. Pick it up to complete the objective and earn +540 XP.
Returning to the Quest Givers
Once you’ve collected the egg, fast travel back to where the quest givers are waiting, you might encounter another wave of enemies while trying to leave, so stay alert and be ready for a fight before using fast travel. After that, return to Fort Endurance. Once you’re back, you will have to decide who to give the pupa to: Wentworth or Bradford.
Making Your Choice

If you decide to give the pupa to Bradford, she will reward you with Cleo’s The Hunt (a unique weapon) and 1,500 Bits. However, Wentworth won’t be happy about it; he will be angry and disappointed that you went against Wotjek, the fort’s commanding officer. On the other hand, if you give the pupa to Wentworth, Wotjek will instantly eat it, which sends Wentworth into a rage.
