Photoelectric Cloak Location in ARC Raiders

If you want to disappear from ARC Raiders and move around without getting spotted, the Photoelectric Cloak is one tool you’ll definitely want in your loadout. This guide will walk you through what the cloak actually does, how its energy system works, and the exact steps to craft one including where to find every material you need.

Photoelectric Cloak in ARC Raiders

The Photoelectric Cloak is basically your invisibility button against ARC. Once you activate it, you’ll slip out of ARC’s sight even if they were literally shooting at you a second ago. The trade-off is that you can only move at a slow walking pace while it’s on. The cloak runs on an energy bar you’ll see on your screen. That energy refills automatically whenever the cloak isn’t active, even if you’ve put it away.

One thing to keep in mind: the moment you switch it on, it eats a small chunk of energy right away. So instead of flicking it on and off, it’s usually smarter to keep it running a bit longer once you commit. And yes, you can equip more than one Photoelectric Cloak, but the energy pool is shared among them. So, stacking cloaks won’t let you stay invisible for longer.

How to Get the Photoelectric Cloak in ARC Raiders

To craft a Photoelectric Cloak, you’ll need 2 Advanced Electrical Components and 4 Speaker Components. Once you’ve got those, head over to Utility Station 3 and put everything together there. After the craft finishes, you’ll walk away with one Photoelectric Cloak.

How to Get Advanced Electrical Components

These are used in crafting a wide range of items and can be recycled into crafting materials as well. To get Advanced Electrical Components, you can travel to the Pilgrims Peak in Bluegate. There are buildings here that you’ll have to raid to get these components.  Additionally, you can craft these by using 3×Wires and 2×Electrical Components at the Refiner 2 workbench.

How to Get Speaker Components

The Speaker Component is one of those rare little finds in ARC Raiders that you’ll definitely want to hang onto. Besides being useful for recycling into crafting materials, it also shows up in a couple of important recipes later on. You can come across Speaker Components while scavenging, and if you’d rather skip the hunt, Celeste also sells them when her stock rotates so always give her shop a quick check.

When it comes to crafting, these parts are essential for a couple of handy gadgets. If you’ve got two Speaker Components and two Plastic Parts, you can head over to Utility Station level 2 and put together a Lure Grenade, perfect for distracting enemies and pulling them away from you.

Later on, once you upgrade to Utility Station level 3, the Speaker Component gets even more valuable. Combine three Speaker Components with two Advanced Electrical Components, and you can craft a Photoelectric Cloak basically a sneaky little device that helps you slip past threats a lot easier.
