What’s the Scout Cannon Glitch & How It Works?
Basically, the whole setup revolves around finding a Scout Cannon, which can pop up randomly in Luggage. Once you snag one, put it down, toss a Backpack inside, and light the fuse on the back. Then jump in. Right as it fires you into the air, keep hammering the Play Dead emote (hold R to bring up the wheel). Done right, the game freaks out and launches you straight to the top.
To pull off the trick, start your run at the Shore and immediately check the Luggage; if it doesn’t contain a Scout Cannon, simply reset until you find one. Once you’ve got it, grab the Backpack and Flare from the wrecked plane, then set up the cannon by scrolling all the way up to max the angle and rolling it back down three clicks. Place the Backpack inside, light the fuse, and stand on top of it to prepare for launch. As you’re blasted into the air, hold down R and keep spamming the Play Dead emote. When the “Peak” title appears on screen, quickly equip and light your Flare—this will trigger the helicopter to swoop in and rescue you before you crash.
