Our Daily Bread Quest Guide in KCD2 Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 – Mysteria Ecclesiae, the Our Daily Bread quest has you helping the monks at Sedletz Monastery deal with food shortages during a spreading sickness. You’ll work with Zacharias and his bodyguard Denes to sort out supply issues and lend a hand to Brother Cellarius in the kitchen. This guide will walk you through each step from talking to the right people and catching crayfish to finding missing items and finishing the quest.

Our Daily Bread Quest Guide

This quest begins inside the infirmary at the Sedletz Monastery. When you speak with Zacharias, he’ll suggest that you make a mask to protect yourself from the illness spreading around. After that, talk to him again and choose the dialogue option marked with a golden quest icon that says “Can I help you with anything?”

Once that’s done, look for his bodyguard, Denes, who’s also in the infirmary. After your talk with Zacharias, a side quest icon will appear above Denes. Speak with him and select these dialogue options in order:  “I heard you’re having supply troubles” > “Maybe I could convince him” > “Talk him into it.” This will officially start the quest.

Meeting Brother Cellarius

You’ll find Brother Cellarius in the kitchen area. To reach him, go down into the cellar and follow the passage until you find an exit that leads straight into the kitchen.

When you talk to him, use these dialogue options for the best outcome:  “I hear you’ve got some disputes over supplies” > “How much food is left?” > “How about a trade?” > “I’ll try and sort something out” > “Is there any other way to save more?”

Catching Crayfish

Next, you’ll need to head outside to the fish ponds west of the monastery. The easiest way to get there is by going back through the kitchen and then heading west. To catch crayfish, wade into the water and look closely at the ground until you spot one then just pick it up. Once you’ve gathered enough, return to Denes and hand them over to complete the quest.

Finding Spectacles

You can find the spectacles in the central courtyard, inside a bird’s nest at the top of a tree. Climb up and loot everything inside the nest you’ll need those extra items for Cellarius later. Once you’ve got everything, head back to Brother Cellarius in the kitchen and give him the items from your inventory.

Completing the Quest

Follow this dialogue path for the best result: “I’ve got your spectacles” > “My pleasure” > “There was more” (if you took everything from the nest) > “So…?” Then hand over the Die of Misfortune and the Hungarian Florin, and in return, Cellarius will reward you with the Sack of Supplies. Now, head back to Denes in the infirmary. As soon as you talk to him, your character will automatically hand over the Sack of Supplies to complete the quest.
