“Off-The-Radar” is one of the first quests you’ll take in ARC Raiders, after the incident of “Trash Into Treasure.” In this quest, you’ll be helping Shani once more, but this time your mission is to repair lost communications by locating and fixing a Field Depot’s antenna. It’s a simple but dangerous quest, be prepared for fighting off enemies, drones, and even other players as you attempt to complete the repairs and escape safely.
How to Start the Off-The-Radar Quest
Once you complete the “Trash Into Treasure” quest of Shani in ARC Raiders, you will automatically gain the next quest entitled “Off the Radar.” Once you submit the previous quest, Shani will immediately assign you this new quest. Here, she requires you to locate a Field Depot nearby and repair its malfunctioning antenna so that communications are restored.
Field Depot Location
You’ll typically spot these on Dam Battlegrounds, Spaceport, and Buried City. Look for a little cabin with an external ladder outside. After climbing the roof, you should spot a radar dish or antenna that’s your indicator you’re in the right place..
How to Repair the Field Depot
First, you’ll need to locate a Field Depot. These tend to be found near the Water Towers Electrical Substation area or near the hydroponic complex, so go that way. When you see where you want to be, find a building with a large antenna on top that is your destination. Before you go to work, climb into the trailer nearby; there may be some good loot inside.
Once you’re ready, take a moment to scan the area. Other players or drones might be nearby, and it’s best not to get caught off guard. When things look clear, find the ladder attached to the depot and climb up to the roof. Interact with the antenna to begin the repair process, but be ready, fixing it makes a lot of noise and could attract enemies.
Once the repairs are done, head over to the closest extraction elevator to exit safely. If you are lucky enough to survive the quest will be completed. However, if you get killed after the repairs, you’ll have to repeat the mission during a different raid. After finishing the “Off the Radar” quest in ARC Raiders, you’ll get a reward from Shani, a Black Hiker-style Backpack cosmetic.
