If you are in the Spring Meadows region in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, you will come across a quest involving a Nevron named Jar. He is in a cave and asks for an unusual light. This guide will walk you through exactly where to find, what Jar needs, and how to complete this short quest.
How to Start the Quest
This quest starts automatically as part of your main story while you are exploring the Spring Meadows region. After taking a quick rest and healing up at the Grand Meadow Rest Point Flag (Expedition 1), you’ll start making your way toward the Indigo Tree. Along the way, you’ll use some handholds left behind by Expedition 69 to climb up to a narrow cave entrance.
Inside, you’ll come across a strange Nevron named Jar. Once you realize you can communicate with him, Jar pleads with Gustave and Lune to bring him “light.” Lune, always curious about anything connected to The Paintress, sees this as a chance to learn more and encourages Gustave to help Jar out.
Where To Find Nevron Jars Light

To help Jar find light in Expedition 33, you’ll need to get some resin, give it to him, and then use either Gustave’s gun or Lune’s blast to set it on fire. Resin is super flammable, which makes it perfect for this.
First, you’ll need to find the resin. From where you first meet Jar, leave the cave and walk past the flag. Keep following the path until you see a flare shoot up. There will be a bunch of enemies nearby, but if you don’t feel like fighting, you can just stick to the path on the right as you exit the cave.
At the end of the path, you’ll reach a cliff. Look down, you’ll spot a bridge, more enemies, and a small purple glow on the side of the cliff. Jump down, head down the ramp past the bridge, and go toward the purple light. An enemy is guarding it, so take them out to make things easier.
You’ll find some broken crates and barrels around the glowing spot. Smash them to clear the way, and you’ll be able to grab the resin. Once you’ve got it, just head back to Jar, give him the resin, and he’ll reward you with a Healing Tint Shard.
