Starting the Quest
The Lucky Egg is a very helpful item in Pokémon Z-A, as it can earn your pokémons additional experience to level up in battles. The catch is that you can’t just get the Lucky Egg. In order to earn it you have to complete a side quest that will pop up after a certain point.
The side quest, entitled “Wondrous Self-Healing Pokémon,” is what you will embark on to obtain the Lucky Egg. The first thing you will need to do is travel to the Vert Pokemon Center and speak to the nurse there. Once you start a conversation, the side quest begins. It’s important to note that a player cannot take this side quest until they reach Rank A in the main storyline, so you can think of it as late-game content.
Completing the Challenge
After taking on the quest, talk to the nurse again, and she will give you a new option that involves challenging her to a fight. It will be a difficult fight, so you will want to make sure your Pokémons are fully prepared for. Once you defeat all of her Pokémons, the Lucky Egg will be yours to keep as a reward.
Note: You can set the Lucky Egg onto any Pokémon and it will provide the Pokémon additional experience points.
