Long Distance Jumper Trophy / Achievement in Sword of the Sea

In Sword of the Sea, some trophies are all about skill and timing, and the Long Distance Jumper is one of them. This Bronze trophy challenges you to make a huge leap and stay in the air for as long as possible without touching the ground. It might sound tricky at first, but with the right spot and a bit of boost, it’s actually pretty easy to unlock even on your first playthrough.

Long Distance Jumper Trophy / Achievement

The Long Distance Jumper trophy in Sword of the Sea is a Bronze trophy you earn by making one really big jump and staying in the air for a long distance without touching the ground. This trophy pops when you manage to cover a big distance in a single jump without touching the ground. If you’re playing in New Game+, it’s super easy since you can build up boost by doing tricks almost anywhere.

But on your very first playthrough, the easiest spot to grab it is in the Frozen Tundra. That’s where you’ll first see those tall pillars that give off boost wisps when you pass by them. Just head up the hill to one of the higher platforms. Normally, you’d jump down to the lower platforms, but instead, use the boost and launch yourself all the way down the hill toward the ground. That jump should be enough to unlock the trophy.

To “boost wisps” in Sword of the Sea, you must collect them after defeating foes, as they are a type of environmental currency that powers your hoversword’s abilities and is key to gaining more airtime. When using halfpipes, angle your camera in the same direction as your movement to avoid misjudging your trajectory and falling in the game.

Decided that degrees were as useful as extra lives in a Mario game-totally unnecessary! I’m diving into the extravagant universe of my favourite game, Assassin’s Creed, which lets me roam the world without actually paying for plane tickets. Hodophile by nature and aspiring to get lost in Hang Sơn Đoòng cave in Vietnam someday!
