In Destiny 2’s Disruption mission, you’ll need to make your way through tricky areas filled with Vex and puzzles. One of the key locations you have to reach is the Golden Age Lab. You’ll have to clear enemies, use new abilities, and find hidden paths along the way. Here’s a step‑by‑step guide to help you reach the lab.
Locate the Golden Age Lab
After you step off the train, you’ll find yourself in the first part of the Disruption mission. The area is crawling with Vex, and the floor is covered in pools of Radiolaria. The good news is that the enemies here don’t respawn. So, take your time clear out all the Vex first before solving the puzzle. Once the room is safe, look for a narrow gap in the wall. Use your Matterspark ability to turn into a ball and roll through that small opening to the next area.
Harpy Room Location
After rolling through, you’ll enter a new room filled with Harpies. In here, you’ll find a Charge Matter Realignment, which gives you Stabilizing Dark Matter. Use this ability on the green wall to shift it and create a new path forward in the room.
Golden Age Lab Location
Drop down through the new gap, and you’ll land in the Golden Age Lab. This section has three Vex Minotaurs, but they’re immune for now don’t bother fighting them. Instead, keep moving forward through the lab until you reach the other end.
Now, head next to a Vex barrier on the lab’s first floor. Here, you will find another Matterspark. Grab it, transform into a ball again, and roll through the small tunnel nearby. This tunnel will take you outside, right near the Rally Banner, and you’re ready for the next step of the mission.
