Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 – Get Back to Trosky Map from Kuttenberg (Switch Regions)

Switching regions in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is essential for progressing through the game, and knowing how to travel between Kuttenberg and Trosky will save you time and trouble. Whether you’re heading to Trosky for the first time or making your way back to Kuttenberg, you will need to find the right caravan and pay the travel fee. Though these points are rather significant, which includes the availability of certain equipment, as well as limitations related to fast travelling while on quests in time runs. This walk-through will navigate you through step by step without a hitch across the major location areas.

Get Back to Trosky Map from Kuttenberg

To get from Kuttenberg to the game’s first main area, head west of Suchdol and look for a caravan. Follow the road east from town, and you’ll soon spot a few carts with some men gathered around a fire. Talk to the Coachman there, and he’ll offer to take you to Trosky via fast travel.

The trip costs 200 Groschen, and there’s no room for negotiation – you have to pay the full amount. However, keep in mind that you won’t be able to travel between regions if you’re in the middle of a timed main quest. Since the regions in Bohemia are far apart, make sure you’ve handled any urgent tasks before leaving.

To return to Kuttenberg, head to the same spot where you were dropped off when first arriving in Trosky. The caravan is located northwest of Nebakov Fortress, near the edge of the map – look for the flag icon labeled “Kuttenberg Region” to confirm you’re in the right place.

Just like before, speak to the coachman and pay the non-negotiable 200 Groschen fee for the trip. Keep in mind that when traveling back to Trosky, some of your gear may not be permitted in the region. If that happens, it will be temporarily taken but returned to you once you’re back in Kuttenberg.

Tips

  • Since you can’t haggle over the 200 Groschen fee, ensure you have enough money before heading to the coachman.
  • Since you may lose access to certain gear while traveling, store essential items in a chest or with a trusted NPC before making the journey.
  • Bohemia’s regions are far apart, so make sure you have everything you need before leaving, including food, potions, and any necessary supplies.
