Keepers of the Glen Quest Guide – Diablo 4: Season 9

If you’re ready to keep the story going in Diablo 4 Season 9, Keepers of the Glen is the next quest you’ll take on after finishing Bearing the Weight of Ghosts. In this part of your adventure, you’ll team up with Bryona again and dive into new strongrooms hidden inside Nightmare Dungeons. This guide will walk you through what to expect and how to complete the challenge.

How to Start the Keepers of the Glen

Once you finish the Bearing the Weight of Ghosts main quest, you can keep the adventure going by talking to Bryona. She’ll be waiting for you at Cerrigar and will ask you to break into another Horadric Strongroom. These are small new areas you’ll come across inside Nightmare Dungeons. The good thing is, you don’t have to finish the entire Nightmare Dungeon to get in. Once you spot the entrance, head inside and focus on the main goal: defeat all the enemies before the timer runs out.

Keep fighting and take down every enemy until a powerful boss shows up. Depending on which Horadric Strongroom you’re in, you’ll either face Pyroclast or Agony. Make sure to move quickly and hit hard so you can finish the strongroom fast and grab the Blood Relic.

The boss you’ll face is called Agony. Their main attack sends out fiery blasts that shoot fireballs in all directions, and standing in these flames will also poison you, so be careful where you step! When Agony’s health drops to about 25%, they’ll disappear for a bit. During this time, you’ll need to deal with some extra enemies before the boss shows up again. It’s just a regular demon, nothing too tough. Defeat it, grab your loot, and open the chest at the end.

Pyroclast was a pretty easy boss compared to Agony, so don’t be surprised if he’s tougher the next time you run into him. The only attack you really need to watch out for is when he rains down fiery AOE spots from the sky but those are simple enough to dodge.

Once that’s done, you’re free to leave the Nightmare Dungeon, whether you’ve cleared everything or just want to move on. After you head out, the Keepers of the Glen main quest will be complete.
