KCD2 The Night-Mare Quest Guide & Alcohol Location & Scaring Bellissimo

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 – The Night-Mare quest, help Voyta reclaim his commission by exposing the corrupt Bellissimo. Sneak through Kuttenberg’s bathhouse, gather spooky props, steal booze, and pull off a devilish scare. This guide walks you through every step to ensure Bellissimo gets exactly what he deserves.

Step 1: Investigate Bellissimo’s Secrets

To get Voyta his commission back, you’ll need to dig up some compromising information on Bellissimo. Start by heading to the bathhouse in the southwest corner of Kuttenberg near the horse market.

Talk to Beatrice (the madam)

  • She’ll mention her dislike for Bellissimo.
  • While she won’t give you official permission to investigate, she drops a helpful tip: book time with one of the bathhouse girls to get access to the upper floor.

Step 2: Find Bellissimo’s Room

1. Enter the bathhouse and go up the main stairs.

2. At the top, turn left—there’s a locked door.

3. Go through it and head up another set of wooden stairs.

4. His room is the first door on the right (also locked).

Stealth Tip

  • Nighttime is best when the place is quiet.
  • Or, skip the sneaking—ask for the full package to automatically get escorted upstairs.

Inside the Room

  • Look at the cabinet on the left. There’s a monastery letter on top—read it.
  • Grab Bellissimo’s alcohol now to avoid an extra trip later.

Step 3: Get Ready for the Devilish Plan

Back at Voyta’s house, he shares his plan: get Bellissimo drunk, then scare him dressed as a devil. Time to gather some props.

You’ll need:

  • Bascinet with Visor – Cheap ones aren’t sold in Kuttenberg. Your best bet is looting bandits on the road.
  • 3 Torches – Find two at a general trader west of Voyta’s place and one more near the Hangman’s Halter Tavern.
  • 5 Eggs – The baker just east of Voyta’s house sells them, or steal from chicken coops and nests.

Return to Voyta with the items to receive the Spooking Equipment.

Step 4: Steal the Rest of Bellissimo’s Booze

To make Bellissimo drink at the tavern, his personal stash must be gone.

Back to the Bathhouse

  • Repeat the same route to his room.
  • Either pick his chest’s lock or steal the key while he’s asleep.
  • Inside are 5 bottles of Schnapps—take all of them.

Step 5: Drinking Time (Without Getting Hammered)

After 9 PM, you’ll get a quest update: time to meet Bellissimo at the bathhouse tavern.

What to Do

Talk to him to start the drinking session. You’ll get dialogue choices. Try to:

  • Convince him to drink alone, or
  • Fake your drinking to stay sober

Eventually, Bellissimo might pass out. If so:

  • Pick him up and carry him to his workshop (marked on the map).
  • Drop him to open doors if needed.

If he’s still walking, just follow him back.

Step 6: The Big Scare

Once inside, Henry auto-changes into the devil costume. The scare scene is mostly automated, but you’ll get to choose sins to accuse him of:

Options include

  • Drinking
  • Lying
  • Betraying a friend (available only if you spoke to Beatrice)

Pick whichever suits your style, but “You betrayed a friend!” is the easiest for the skill check.

Step 7: Wrap It Up

After scaring Bellissimo out of town, head back to Voyta. Congrats—The Night-Mare quest is done, and you’ve helped Voyta.
