“Stained Honour” involves Henry assisting Voyta in Pschitoky in collecting a debt. Your choices, diplomatic, deceptive, or vengeful, determine the outcomes and rewards. This walkthrough covers all alternatives, including decisions about the mural, theft of Lapis Lazuli, and optional rewards so read along!
Stained Honour Quest Overview
Stained Honour-this is the sixth quest in the “Death Strokes” expansion. The artist Voyta from Kuttenberg is upset because his client never paid him for painting a mural in the village of Pschitoky. Voyta wants to get paid, but he’s not averse to getting back at the bailiff who stiffed him.
Your job here is to collect the payment for Voyta or to go make some “adjustments” on the mural as a statement. There are several ways to do this, and we will walk you through all of them.
How to Start the Quest

First, ensure that you have completed the quest called “Nightmare.” Next, go find the panel painter, Voyta, in Kuttenberg. Ask him if he needs more help, and he will tell you about the unpaid work he has in Pschitoky.
Heading to Pschitoky
Once you are in Pschitoky, track down the bailiff. Usually, he remains in his chambers on the second story or wanders about the village. Talking to him, he will point-blank refuse to pay Voyta with Lapis Lazuli. Then comes the fun part.
So, for the next step, don’t finish the mural quite yet. Instead, agree to perform some sort of farce: the bailiff is going to suggest that there’s going to be a fake duel where Henry “loses” on purpose. If you go along with this plan, he promises to hand over the Lapis afterward.
Meeting Adela and Making a Choice
Head west from the construction site to a big tree where you’ll find Adela of Mnischek. She’ll catch wind of the bailiff’s plan and you can either:
- Go along with the bailiff’s idea – insult Adela to kick off the fake duel. Just take a dive in the fight and you’ll get the Lapis Lazuli afterward.
- Tell Adela everything – she’ll offer you a real reward (1,000 groschen!) if you fight and win against the bailiff to teach him a lesson. The catch? You’ll have to sneak into the castle later to steal the Lapis yourself.
Stealing the Lapis Lazuli
If you team up with Adela, she’ll ask her guard to let you into the bailiff’s room. You can get in by using the scaffolding around the castle — climb up, sneak in, and find the bailiff’s room on the second floor (first door on the right). Try to go at night when the bailiff’s asleep — the Lapis will be in his pocket.
Also, don’t forget Voyta’s mural is in there too. You can “improve” it or ruin it — your choice. But be sure to finish the mural before taking the Lapis, or you’ll miss out on an achievement.
Wrapping Things Up
Once everything’s done, go back to Kuttenberg and talk to Voyta. Depending on what you did, you’ll get different dialogue options and rewards:
- “I finished your picture” – he’s happy, and you keep the lapis.
- “I brought you the gem and finished the picture” – he’s a bit annoyed you did both, but he’ll take the gem.
- “I brought you a gem” – he thanks you and gives you a reward.
- Then you can move on to the next quest, “The Root of Evil.”
