Infernal Heart Overview
The Infernal Heart, introduced with the Volcanic Expansion update, is a prime digsite for experienced prospectors. It offers many valuable minerals, including rare items like the Volcanic Key and Dragon Skull. To mine these high-tier minerals and complete the digsite’s collection page, you’ll need a shovel with at least Toughness 5.
Location & Timings
Located beyond the Magma Furnace on Caldera Island, the Infernal Heart opens every hour at 15 minutes past (your local time). Anyone can enter, but only those with a Divine Shovel or better can collect minerals. When it opens, a notification saying, “The volcano rumbles… The Infernal Heart is open!” appears for all players in the server. The digsite remains open for 30 minutes, closing at 45 minutes past the hour, so be quick. After it closes, there’s a short wait until the next opening.
Note: Luck Totems work here, just like in other digsites, helping you increase the odds of finding rare minerals like Inferlume, Painite, Uranium, and Fire Opal.
