This quest is unlocked from Tian Wen in Arc Raiders, who can be found in Speranza. Similar to her other quests, Industrial Espionage also revolved around scavenging tech and digging out caches.
In this quest, you need to find a hidden stash of weapons somewhere within one of the Industrial Areas. The objective of the mission is quite simple, but you must be attentive in order not to miss out on it.
Industrial Espionage – How to Start?
This quest can be started by speaking to Tian Wen, a resident of Speranza. This quest is similar to her other quests, gathering parts, investigating fields, and recovering lost equipment. Once the mission is in progress, make sure your entire squad is tracking the quest, as progress is shared among teammates. However, the final interaction can be done by a single player for the entire squad to get the credit.
Weapon Cache Location
The objective of the mission is to find the hidden stash of weapons for Tian Wen that is hidden somewhere in the Industrial Zone. Once you’re in the correct area, search for yellow highlighted markers.
A few tips for searching it more efficiently are:
- Search the loading docks, rooftops, and fenced-in storage yards carefully, as the cache is mostly out of plain sight.
- Make sure to clear any enemies lurking nearby. Taking damage while interacting can interrupt your progress or prevent the marker from appearing.
- Keep an eye out for every prompt, as there are times when multiple containers have the quest marker on them.
Once you open the correct cache, the quest will be completed.
Troubleshooting Bugs in the Quest
When you can’t get ahead with:
- Can’t find the marker? Expand your search radius. The cache might be tucked behind debris or just inside a doorway.
- Interaction won’t trigger? Make sure all enemies nearby are cleared. Some objects can’t be activated while you are under attack.
- One of your teammates didn’t get credit? Have that person physically touch the cache after it has been discovered-this will usually trigger the quest for everyone.
Rewards After Completing Industrial Espionage
Once you find and open the cache, Industrial Espionage will complete and progress Tian Wen’s storyline. You should unlock another job or be sent back to her for your next mission. Head into your Quest Log when you get back to Speranza as there should now be new jobs to take part in.
