What is the Gladiator Maze?
In Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants, the Gladiator Maze is one of the more complicated puzzles, because it requires both timing and strategy. You must navigate a burning orb through a twisting maze, and at the same time activate the four gladiators to find out the hidden mystery of the maze. The first obstacle is finding the Headless Gladiator’s sword. The sword is located on the right side of the maze. When you place the sword in the gladiator’s hand and pull it with your whip, that will trigger the fireball and you will start the puzzle.
Understanding the Correct Order
The solution to the maze is to ensure that the fireball traverses to each gladiator in the correct order. Clues to the correct order are found on the murals along the walls, marked with Roman numerals. The fireball must take the following journey: go to the Lion Shield in the top left corner, then to the Boar Shield in the bottom left corner, next to the Tiger Shield in the top right corner, and finally to the Bear Shield in the bottom right corner.
Using Platforms to Guide the Fireball
To assist players in guiding the fireball, they will have three platforms, two curved ones and a straight one. They can pick up, move, and rotate the platforms as needed to allow the fireball to follow the correct route. You must place the platforms very carefully so that the fireball can work its way through the twists and turns without missing the gladiators.
