In Grounded 2, there is a special Optical Disk hidden inside the Ice Cream Cart, which is in a room full of ice cream. Finding this disk is important because you can trade it at the Science Shop for some really useful upgrades. These include things like better weapons, food that lasts longer, new cooking recipes, and fun decorations for your base. If you want to make the game easier and more fun, this is a great item to find early on.
Ice Cream Cart Optical Disk Location
You will need to find your way inside the actual Ice Cream Cart. Head to the Southeast of the map. It is in the room that is full of ice cream. Wear Fuzzy armour to prevent the cold. Now follow the pink ice cream path, then the green. You will find a lot of scorpions here, so make sure to fight them.
Now take the left and go inside. Drop down the cone and take the right. You will find a dead body in the pink ice cream. Look between the legs of the body, and you should spot the cart optical disk there.
How to use the Ice Cream Cart Optical Disk
At the Science Shop, you can get some really awesome upgrades by returning the Optical Disk from the Ice Cream Cart. First, you will be able to buy the Brittle Whetstone recipe for 1,000 Raw Science, which is great for sharpening up your weapons early on. There is also the Milk Molar Scanner for 5,000 Raw Science. This one is a game-changer, making it way easier to track down those upgrade-boosting Milk Molars around the yard.
If you are into cooking, you can grab the Ice Cream Cart Cookbook for 2,500 Raw Science, which gives you access to some new food recipes. The Fresh Storage upgrade is also available for 3,000 Raw Science and helps keep your food from spoiling too quickly. And finally, for a bit of fun base decorating, there is the Fuzz Sign Set, also priced at 3,000 Raw Science.
