Perched high above a frozen void, The Ice Cradle Abyss in Crimson Desert blends precision platforming with light based puzzle. Short but memorable, this challenge sends you through sound-locked mechanisms and into tight icy chambers where a single misstep can cause your character to slip like a cartoon character. This guide gives a concise route and exact sound mechanism sequence so you can restore the Abyss, claim the Abyss Artifact and finish the challenge.
Entering the Area below the Button
Before you reach the area where the large button lies, there is a path to the right and you need to go through this path.
This path is going to lead you to an entrance that leads us to the area below the large button and at this point you must be hearing musical beats, this is the sound mechanism that we need to solve.
After going down the path, look to your right and you’ll see a door leading to a room where the sound mechanism lies. But to solve the sound mechanism, you’d have to use Focus Light on the sound buttons in a sequential order.
Sound Mechanism Solution
There are 5 buttons on the sound mechanism that you need to use Focus Light on in a sequential order. I’ve marked the sound button with numbers to make it easier for you to identify.
The sequential order that you need to use the Focus Light on the sound mechanism is 5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 1, 1. This will solve the sound mechanism device puzzle.
Replacing the Battery
Then backtrack to the entrance where you came from and look up to your right, you can see another mechanism. Head upward to the pointed location as shown in the above image.
Look around the place and you’ll see a battery, you need to fix the battery in place as depicted in the above picture.
This is going to open up the door to the right, go through the narrow path and you’ll reach the area where the button lies, but the button is still deactivated.
Connecting the Conduit
On the ground to the left, you can see the conduit that you need to reconnect in order to activate the button.
Then use Force Palm once the button is activated, this is going to restore the Ice Cradle Abyss and you can claim the Abyss Artifact.
